This artwork was completed about two weeks ago, but I refrained from uploading it as it's for a contest [link] by :icontheeliteten:

I got assigned Wartortle, and was supposed to make it use either tail whip, aqua tail, withdraw or water pulse. Chose aqua tail as it's one of the more unique moves. Water pulse would be a glowing orb, which I'm pretty sure other people would have done.

On to the artwork. I sketched the whole thing out traditionally, and chances are I messed up the perspective. Looks passable though. Then I colored it in, experimenting with the technique. I must say it turned out quite alright. Though now everything's on one layer, so it's hard to edit the picture to add more stuff now. At least I think the picture's complete in it's own way.

Anyway for the rest of the contestants, good luck as well :D

Well, it`s already very good. My only tip for improvement is that you could line up the face a bit better and maybe make the mouth a few pixels smaller.
I don`t wanna tell you what to do though. It`s your art. :3
